Tempest

We discover our values like uncharted lands. We may think we're on route to the West Indies only to find ourselves marooned on the shores of the Americas. I've told myself that certain portions of my life are over, and that I've moved onward to the next adventure. But the sea takes you where it wants. And when the tempest settles, you find yourself back on familiar lands you never knew you missed. What we say and how we react are rarely kindred spirits.
